THE COMPASS- This simple device reacts to changes to abrupt changes or fluctuations in the energy field of the location. A spinning compass needle would certainly show that something unusual is going on.
GUASSMETER/DR. GUASS EMF METER- This device is used to detect changes in the electromagnetic fields. When using this device be on the lookout for sudden and extreme bursts of energy to occur. If this occurs, look around and try to pinpoint the source of the energy. This may result from man made energy sources. There are several emf meters that we use.

IR MOTION DETECTOR- The infrared motion detector can be used to secure an area from intrusion and also to pick up energy fields that register a temperature change.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY GUAGE- This device is used in conjunction with a thermometer to record the ambient conditions of an indoor or outdoor location. This enables us to record what the conditions were at the time of the investigation and helps to rule out any natural effects that may appear in photos that were taken.
GEIGER COUNTER- This is used to monitor the changes in the background radiation of the location. Ambient radiation is drained by the ghost/energy at the location.
ION PARTICLE COUNTER- This device is designed to number the particles in the air of the location. If camera anomalies actually have density to them, then they will register on the ion counter.
IR THERMAL SCANNER/NON-CONTACT THERMOMETER- This device tracks down a paranormal presence by taking instant temperature readings from a location and by detecting any changes that might be sudden or extreme. A ghost uses the energy in a particular spot to manifest itself and by doing so, creates a cold mass. The energy may be invisible to the eye, but detectable with this device.
35 MM AND DIGITAL STILL PHOTOGRAPHY- Used to capture any anomalies in the location. Ghost Hunters have captured ghostly phenomena for years using this equipment. I myself have captured a couple apparitions.
DIGITAL AND TAPE RECORDERS- This equipment is useful to us. It can capture electronic voice phenomena also known as EVP. It can record sound well below our level of hearing and speaking.
OMNIDIRECTIONAL MICS- This is a must for recording evp. It eliminates the sound of the gears from a tape recorder. This helps us better record the sounds of the dead by blocking out anything that would normally be picked up.
TWO WAY RADIOS- These are helpful for groups. It enables us to stay in contact with each other on investigations.
CAMCORDER- This allows us not only to document our investigation but I myself have captured moving orbs with the nightshot option available on the sony models.
