Every month we profile a new haunted location.

Melbourne, Florida - Miquels Mexican Restaurant -
was once Doc Sloan's House. Doc Sloan was a bootlegger during prohibition and the rich guy in town. He built a fancy Mediterranean style house on what was then the edge of town. His three year old daughter caught herself on fire and died on the second floor of the structure. Since that time people have heard a child screaming, sometimes a child crying and many times things move about with no explanation. The latest news is that the resturant has been closed and the building has been demolished.
At the time of this posting another landmark is making way for progress. Whether or not the activity will continue now that the building is gone, that remains to be seen.
